Hi. My name is Becky Ehling. In 1985, I graduated from Little Miami High School and married my husband, Kevin who grew up down the road from me.
In Oct. 1987, we had our son, PJ, who is currently a seminarian with the Salesians of Don Bosco in the New Jersey/New York area. In Feb. 1989, we had our daughter, Jacilyn who married Matt Jackson in May 2008, graduated from Thomas Moore College with an associates degree in theology and had our first grandchild on November 7, 2009 (Noah Tyler Jackson).
I have managed the finances of my husband’s business since 1984, been the safety manager at Carl W. Oeder Trucking, Inc. since 1994 and the bookkeeper since 2002, and I have been your township Trustee since 1998. I am a parishioner at St. Philip the Apostle Church and a past religious education teacher. I have always been an active member of the community as a coach and a member of PTO.
I made sure the outdoor warning sirens were in place throughout the whole township not just in the most populated areas. I sit as a member of the LEPC (Local Emergency Planning Committee), an alternate for Regional Planning executive committee, a member of the Mounts Park Steering Committee, Administrator for the Warren County CDL Drug & Alcohol program, past member of the 2000 Land Use committee and have attended every Ohio Township Association conference in Columbus. I have always been a proponent for managed growth and was on the board for the entire process of impact fees. We have the most up to date studies with state of the art equipment always done within the boundaries of our Balance Budget!! In 2005 Hamilton Township was rated 11th in “Best Burbs: The Top 47 Communities in the Tri state, ranking 2nd for safety and Hamilton Township has acquired over 200 acres of free land for our parks.
I enjoy spending time with my family, playing with our grandchild, crocheting and NASCAR. My husband and I have been registered republicans since 1985. I truly am here for ALL of Hamilton Township. Please feel free to contact me. |
