Jackie Terwilleger, Hamilton Township Fiscal Officer and Secretary to the Trustees, was appointed in December, 1980 and in 1982 was elected for her first 4 year term by a vote of the residents. She is serving in her sixth 4 year term and resides in the Eastern portion of the Township.\

She is married to George Terwilleger who was a former Township Trustee and Clerk then elected to the County Commissioners Seat, and after 12 years was elected as the County’s State Representative and served for 8 years until term limits went into effect.

They have three children who reside in Hamilton Township and 8 grandchildren.

She graduated from Olentangy High School in Delaware County and continued her education with 2 years of Business College in Columbus, and 1 year of Accounting and Business Law. She has also taken various courses in Planning and Zoning, Real Estate Law and Appraisal, Grant writing, Record Retention, Computer Training, Public Relations, and various Worker’s Compensation Training.

Her past involvements have been with the Warren County Employment and Training as the MIS Management Coordinator and Fiscal Supervisor, Little Miami School District as a Teachers Aide and School Secretary along with working with challenged classes for grades K through 5th. grades She was appointed to Warren County Board of Elections as one of the Republican Clerks for 7 years. Countryside Real Estate as Office Manager, Agent and Partner for 21 years. Appointed by Miami University Department of Governmental Affairs to help formulate a Clerks book and a Policy Manuel to be used by Ohio Townships.

Her Current involvement includes 16 years as member of the Warren County Regional Planning Commission and 12 years as serving on their Executive Committee and the Budget Committee; Member Warren County Affordable Housing and Task Force Committee; Secretary Warren County Township Association for 17 years; Warren County Representative to the Ohio Township Association Executive Committee for 14 years; Ohio Public Works Committee for District #10 for 4 years; Ohio Township Association Board of Director Member for 10 years; recently appointed to the Southwest Ohio Advisory Board for State Auditor Mary Taylor.
