Electric and Gas Aggregation Information
Hamilton Township currently has a community aggregation rate for natural gas and electric. Our Trustees have decided to continue our electric aggregation through Constellation Energy. This consists of a three year, fixed rate at 4.657 cents/kWh. This rate is lower than Duke's rate (5.89 cents/kWh) and is also down from the previous program's rate (5.18 cents/kWh). This agreement will be in effect from July 2020 through July 2023. As a township resident, you are automatically enrolled into the program, unless you have chosen a third party supplier on your own. You may opt out/in of the program at any time by calling Constellation Energy at 833-801-3194.
The Township gas aggregate agreement is through IGS. IGS has locked in our rate at $3.478/Mcf ($0.3478/Ccf) and is in effect from April 2020 through March 2024. This is a historically low rate for our Township's program that will serve our residents well. As a Township resident, you are automatically enrolled into the program unless you have chosen a third party supplier on your own. You may opt out/in of the program at any time by calling 1-877-353-0162.
