Tornado Sirens
The Tornado Sirens are tested the first Wednesday of each month. There are 10 total sirens with locations as follows:
Siren 1: On State Route 48 at Kings Point Church of God
Siren 2: On Zoar Road next to The Park Church
Siren 3: On the corner of Ford Road and Morrow Cozaddale
Siren 4: On Striker Road behind Lakeshore Drive
Siren 5: On Stephens Road between Village on the Green and Hawthorne Manor
Siren 6: On Morrow Cozaddale by the Double D Plant Ranch
Siren 7: On Sibcy Road behind Testerman Park
Siren 8: On Cozaddale Murdoch at the Bethel Presbyterian Church
Siren 9: On Dallasburg Road
Siren 10: On Adams Road
These sirens are made to be heard mainly outdoors. We suggest getting a S.A.M.E Weather Radio for your indoor use. You can purchase these radios almost anywhere (Kroger, Wal-Mart, Target, etc.). The S.A.M.E Weather Radio can be programed for your specific area and County. If you do not hear the siren during testing as you would normally, please let us know so that we can address the issue.
