State Route 48 Widening
Southbound SR 48: The project will add a thru-lane beginning approximately 40 feet north of the Ridgeview Lane/Saddle Creek Lane intersection and ending at the existing right-turn lane at Willow Pond Blvd south of US 22/3. The widened roadway will also include a second southbound left turn lane on SR 48 to eastbound US 22/3.
Northbound SR 48: Add a thru-lane from just north of Willow Pond Blvd. continuing to approximately 400 feet north of the Ridgeview Lane/Saddle Creek Lane intersection.
Other Improvements along SR 48: Add sidewalk (north of US 22/3), replace traffic signals (4 intersections).
US 22/3 Improvements: Convert an existing shoulder and right-turn lane eastbound US 22/3 to a thru lane in order to accept the added southbound SR 48 left turn lane onto eastbound US 22/3.
